About the project

Indie Studio is the last C++ project of the second year at Epitech. It consists of programming a 3D video game with real tools. We chose Worms, the most difficult game (and the funniest) on the list. The game had to include specific features and offer a real gaming experience.

This project is normally done in groups of 7 over 4 months. We were 3, and we had 2 months.

The team

  • Benjamin G.: Project leader. In charge of communication; he also helped me with the AI.
  • Illiasse Rifki: Graphics / UI. Responsible for the graphics, the GUI and the Irrlicht library.
  • Myself, Ugo Belfiore: I built the whole game engine: game design and task breakdown, map, game loop, physics engine and weapons management.
