About the project

The result of a 72-hour game jam, Ludum Dare 2017.

Unstoppable Battle of the Neon Arena is a two-to-four-player local game in which the players, people who came to know and love each other after years of friendship, kill each other with sabers, missiles and laser beams. Anyone can join the arena mid-game by plugging in a controller.

My role

We were 2 game designers, 2 2D artists, a project leader and 2 programmers, myself included. I made the core gameplay, the graphics integration and animation, and the physics calculations. I also handled multiple gamepads for both Windows and the web: the game is playable online thanks to the WebGL export.
