Kawenga: my first step in game making
1 / 2
About the project
I did my first internship, one week long, at Kawenga in 2012, while I was still in high school. I had already started programming games on computers, from simple math cheat sheets to Tetris, and I wanted to go further and discover how video games are made on computer!
This week-long internship let me discover video game creation, learn the Fusion software, think about the story, the characters and the settings, and finally create a complete game.
It was my first experience in video games, and certainly not the last! The video above shows the games created by the trainees; mine starts at 2:50.
I later continued this game and eventually made it playable online: see Tankistador.
