About the project

The result of a 48-hour game jam on the theme "It's over 9000!".

In this game, you play as a witch who endeavours to extract 9000 ml of juice from cockroaches for her super organic, healthy breakfast. Use light to scatter the cockroaches and food to bait them towards the blender. Be careful to avoid traps, or you will not have enough creatures to make a neat smoothie. Also, those bugs are starving: if one of them dies in a trap, the others will try to eat it and meet the same fate.

My role

We were 12: 4 programmers, 3 game designers, 2 graphic artists, 1 UX/ergonomics designer, 1 sound designer, and myself.

I took on the "technical director" role, in a sense, with the help of one game designer for logistics. I created the structure and architecture of the game, managed task distribution, and handled the gameplay programming with the help of my teammates.
